TERMS OF SERVICE AND CONSUMER TERMS OF SALE Last updated: 13 October 2026
1. ABOUT US AND THESE TERMS
This online store is operated by Global Shop Link Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 16893990. Registered office and correspondence address: 35C Ashfield Avenue, Feltham, TW13 5BB, United Kingdom. Email: globalshoplink@gmail.com Telephone: +44 7742 635645 These terms govern use of our website and consumer purchases of physical goods, including tableware, porcelain and home accessories. A consumer is an individual acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Business and wholesale customers should contact us for separately agreed terms before ordering; describing an order as a business purchase does not remove rights that legally apply to a consumer. Please read these terms and the product, delivery and returns information before ordering. Information supplied before purchase forms part of your contract where required by law. A more generous express promise made for your purchase remains binding. No policy limits your statutory rights. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Our store uses Shopify's ecommerce platform. Your contract for goods purchased from us is with Global Shop Link Ltd.
2. ORDERING AND CONTRACT FORMATION
You must be at least 18 to place an order and authorised to use your payment method. Check the products, quantities, delivery address and total before submitting your order. Your order is an offer to purchase. An automated order-received email acknowledges receipt and does not itself accept your offer. We accept when we send a dispatch confirmation, unless we expressly confirm acceptance earlier in a separate communication. Taking or authorising payment alone does not constitute acceptance. If only some items are dispatched, acceptance covers those items unless we expressly accept the entire order. Before acceptance, we may decline an order for a genuine reason, including unavailable stock, inability to deliver to the address, an unresolved price error, payment failure, reasonable fraud concerns or a legal restriction. We will notify you and promptly refund any payment taken for declined items. After acceptance, we cannot cancel merely because the sale has become inconvenient or less profitable. Please retain your order emails and a copy of these terms. Changes to these terms apply to future orders and do not retrospectively alter an existing contract without your agreement or a legal requirement.
3. PRODUCT INFORMATION AND CARE
The product description identifies the items included, their principal characteristics and any disclosed condition issues. Styling accessories are not included unless stated. Screen settings may affect how colours appear, but this does not excuse a material difference from the agreed description. Minor manufacturing variations in glaze, finish or dimensions may occur where consistent with the description and satisfactory quality. This is not a blanket exclusion for faults, cracks, chips or material discrepancies. Follow product-specific care instructions. Dishwasher, microwave, oven and freezer suitability varies: do not assume that all porcelain or metallic decoration is suitable. We are not responsible for damage actually caused by misuse, accidental impact or failure to follow adequate care instructions, but this does not exclude responsibility for an inherent defect or inadequate instructions. Brand names identify products and their owners. We do not claim to be an authorised dealer or affiliated with a manufacturer unless expressly stated.
4. PRICES, PAYMENT AND ERRORS
The checkout shows the payment currency, product prices, delivery charges and taxes we collect. Applicable UK taxes are included in consumer prices where required. We do not add optional charges without your express agreement. Your payment provider may apply its own currency conversion rate or charges. Payment is due when ordering unless we agree otherwise. We may perform proportionate payment and fraud checks. We will not ask you to send full card credentials by ordinary email. If we identify a price or description error before acceptance, we will explain the correction and ask whether you wish to proceed, or cancel and refund the affected item. We will not charge an increased price without your agreement. After acceptance, we do not have a general right to cancel for our own mistakes; any remedy for an obvious error is limited to what the law permits. Promotions apply subject to conditions clearly disclosed before purchase. Price changes do not change an accepted order.
5. PRE-ORDERS AND SOURCED PRODUCTS
Where an item is a pre-order or must be sourced, the relevant lead time will be disclosed before you order. We will tell you about material delays and explain your options. We will not substitute a different item without your agreement. A standard product does not become personalised or non-returnable merely because it is ordered specially, imported or sourced for you. Any genuine personalisation and its effect on cancellation rights will be explained before ordering.
6. DELIVERY AND RISK
Available destinations, delivery charges and estimated times are shown before purchase. If no different delivery period is agreed, we will deliver without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being made. If delivery is late, your remedies depend on the circumstances. You may end the contract immediately where we refuse delivery or an essential delivery deadline is missed. Otherwise, you can set an appropriate additional period and end the contract if we still fail to deliver. We will refund sums due for a lawfully terminated order without undue delay. Goods remain our responsibility until physically received by you or a person you nominate. If you independently appoint a carrier not offered by us, risk may pass when we hand the goods to that carrier, as provided by law. A tracking scan alone does not conclusively prove receipt. Please provide an accurate address and reasonable delivery access. If your incorrect information or failure to collect causes additional delivery costs, we may seek reasonable, evidenced costs actually caused by that failure, after explaining them. No automatic penalty or forfeiture of the entire purchase price applies. We will not charge you for our or our carrier's error. Ownership passes once we have received full payment; this does not change the delivery risk rules above.
7. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We accept orders only for destinations we can lawfully serve. Destination-specific delivery and import arrangements will be explained before purchase. Where you must pay import duties, local taxes or customs handling charges not collected at checkout, we will disclose that responsibility and any known amount or calculation basis before you commit. Ask us before ordering if this is unclear. Customs clearance may affect delivery times, but this does not remove applicable cancellation rights or our responsibility for performance. If you refuse delivery, contact us so we can resolve the order. We will not automatically retain all payments or impose undisclosed charges. Any deduction must have a lawful basis and reflect an actual recoverable cost. Mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country remain unaffected where the law requires them to apply.
8. CHANGING YOUR MIND: CANCELLATION
For eligible distance purchases, you may cancel without a reason from placing the order until 14 days after the day you, or your nominated recipient other than the carrier, receives the goods. For goods in one order delivered separately, the period normally runs from receipt of the last item. Tell us by an unequivocal statement sent to globalshoplink@gmail.com or our correspondence address. You may use the form below, but it is optional. Sending your cancellation before the deadline is sufficient; our approval or a returns reference is not required to exercise the right. Return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us. Unless we provide another suitable return address, send them to Global Shop Link Ltd, 35C Ashfield Avenue, Feltham, TW13 5BB, United Kingdom. Contacting us for packing and routing instructions is helpful but does not extend or restrict statutory deadlines. You pay the direct cost of a change-of-mind return where we informed you of this before purchase. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we will provide the required return-cost information before purchase. Faulty or incorrectly supplied goods are dealt with under section 10.
9. RETURN CONDITION AND REFUNDS
You may inspect goods as you reasonably could in a shop. Please return all components of any set being cancelled and pack fragile goods securely. Original protective packaging is helpful, but its absence does not automatically invalidate your rights. Obtain evidence of posting; tracked and adequately insured carriage is recommended, not a condition of cancellation. Where legally permitted and the required cancellation information was provided, we may deduct an evidenced reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods' nature, characteristics and functioning. Actual use of tableware for meals may go beyond inspection. There is no fixed restocking or administration fee. Any deduction will be explained. For cancellation of an entire order, we refund the price and the least expensive standard outbound delivery charge we offered. We do not have to refund the additional cost of your choice of premium delivery. For a partial cancellation, we refund any outbound delivery amount no longer properly chargeable in light of the items retained and your applicable rights. We refund without undue delay and within 14 days after receiving the returned goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever is earlier. Where no goods were supplied, or we have offered to collect them, the applicable period runs from notice of cancellation. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, with no refund fee. We do not require you to accept store credit instead of money owed. The change-of-mind right does not apply to goods genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised. This exception does not affect remedies for faulty or misdescribed goods. Sale items and ordinary pre-orders retain the same statutory rights as other eligible goods.
10. FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT GOODS
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any particular purpose you made known to us and we agreed to, and as described. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you normally have a 30-day short-term right to reject non-conforming goods, subject to the statutory rules. Afterwards, repair or replacement and, where legally available, a price reduction or final rejection may apply. If a fault appears within six months, it is generally presumed to have existed at delivery unless we establish otherwise or that presumption is incompatible with the nature of the goods or fault. Your rights do not automatically end after six months or when a manufacturer's warranty ends. Please contact us promptly about damage or missing items. Photographs of the goods, packaging and delivery label can help our investigation. Keep packaging where reasonably possible. A photograph, original box, unboxing video or report within 24 or 48 hours is not a condition of your statutory rights. We may reasonably inspect goods or ask for evidence of purchase and the issue. We arrange or pay reasonable necessary return costs for valid faulty, damaged or incorrect-goods claims. Contact us so we can offer an appropriate return or collection method. We will not require you to pursue the manufacturer or courier instead of us for our legal responsibilities.
11. OUR RESPONSIBILITY
We are responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence or was contemplated by both parties when the contract was made. These consumer terms concern private purchases. We do not accept liability for business losses arising from commercial use outside the agreed purpose of a consumer purchase, such as lost business profits, contracts or opportunities. Separately agreed business sales require their own terms. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, defective products where liability cannot legally be excluded, or any other liability or consumer right the law prevents us from excluding. There is no blanket 'as is' disclaimer for the goods and no general cap limiting all consumer claims to the purchase price. You should take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary loss once aware of a problem. This does not require unreasonable expense or compromise your rights.
12. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL
If an event outside our reasonable control affects an order, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to reduce its impact. This does not automatically release us from our obligations or allow indefinite delay. Your delivery cancellation and refund rights in section 6 remain available. We do not treat ordinary commercial inconvenience as an excuse for non-performance.
13. WEBSITE USE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Do not use the website for fraud, unlawful activity, malicious code, unauthorised access, infringement or harassment. Keep account access details secure and notify us of suspected unauthorised use. You are not automatically liable for activity outside your control. Website materials belong to us or their respective owners. You may browse, share product links and retain material for personal use and order records. Commercial copying or reuse of protected content requires the relevant owner's permission unless permitted by law. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or security threats. Doing so does not remove rights relating to existing orders or money we owe you. We aim to maintain availability but cannot promise uninterrupted access. External links are provided for convenience. We do not control independent third-party websites, but linking to them does not exclude liability for our own representations or obligations.
14. REVIEWS AND CUSTOMER CONTENT
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and must not infringe others' rights or contain unlawful content. If you submit a review or image for public display, you retain ownership and give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and format it for that purpose. We will not alter its meaning or present it misleadingly. Separate advertising use of identifiable customer images requires appropriate permission. We may remove unlawful, abusive, irrelevant or demonstrably inauthentic submissions. We do not suppress genuine reviews solely because they are negative. Private correspondence is not automatically licensed for public advertising.
15. DISPUTES, LAW AND GENERAL TERMS
Send complaints to globalshoplink@gmail.com with your order number and details. We will investigate and seek a fair resolution. You do not waive chargeback, statutory or court remedies by contacting us, and we do not charge a penalty for making a genuine dispute. You cannot recover the same loss twice. Where applicable law requires information about an alternative dispute resolution provider after an unresolved complaint, we will supply it and state whether we are willing or obliged to participate. We do not claim membership of a scheme unless confirmed. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts. For consumers elsewhere, this choice does not remove mandatory local protections or rights to bring proceedings in another court where applicable law provides them. If a term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue where they can fairly operate without it. Ambiguous consumer terms are interpreted as required by law. Failure to enforce a right immediately does not waive it. No provision excludes binding pre-contract information or liability for misrepresentation. We may transfer the contract only where this does not reduce your rights or guarantees. We will notify you and provide an appropriate remedy if a proposed transfer would materially disadvantage you. No other person has rights to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 unless expressly stated; this does not affect rights available independently of that Act.
